Barbara was married for 61 years to Richard Nelson DeFazio who passed away on August 16, 2019. Growing up as a child she spent her summers on her grandmothers' farm with her sister Beverly. Barbara was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, who passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024. We thank the Glebe Centre for the great care they took of Barbara in her final years. Barbara was an evangelizer of God's word in the faith of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was faithful in her faith right to the end. Barbara loved country music and when she was young, she saw Elvis Presley live in Ottawa in 1957. She and her husband were fantastic ballroom dancers as her husband Rick was a professional ballroom and line dance instructor. She will be greatly missed by hundreds of friends in the faith all across Canada as they lived in Alberta and British Columbia as well as Ontario the province they were born in.
